Bring me sunshine!
Hi dear pottery friend,
It's a beautiful sunny day in Morecambe...
And with the Eden of the North projects starting soon it’s an exciting time for us all.
Local businesses and markets are opening up for the summer months, and lots of events are coming up soon. And there’s a happy optimism to go with the hustle and bustle—A real sense of expectation in the spring air that’s very inspiring.
The Morecambe BID monthly street markets have begun too of course. And here I am thoroughly enjoying having my first market stall with Morecambe bay pottery!
I had a great time. And some lovely conversations with locals and visitors alike…
I even managed to operate the ‘Tap to Pay’ on the phone for my lovely new customers. Among whom were Canadian and Chinese visitors, which was nice.
I sold some cups and bowls, and my sets of handmade buttons proved to be very popular!
This was all hungry work, so when it came to lunch, there was only one choice—Zuri’s Kitchen run by my wonderful friend Jane, who also helped me start my very own stall!
Her goat curry is fantastic!
There were lots of other foods and stalls too and a wonderful time was had by all.
So that’s my news just now!
