Picture the scene…
It's one of those chilly, bright autumn days, perfect for a walk in the countryside. The dappled light from the soft, warm, orange glow of the sun, shines through the dancing remaining rich coloured leaves on the trees.
The air that feels refreshingly invigorating.
And now it's late afternoon as the sun begins setting and you arrive home from your walk…
You open your front door to the most delicious smell and a heart-warming greeting!
There waiting at your kitchen table is a warm bowl of comforting soup.
As you sit down at your table, ready to enjoy your food you feel the warmth and love. And the cosy ambiance gives you joy knowing you've had a satisfying, well-spent Saturday afternoon!
To complete the picture, your bowls have been handmade at Morecambe Bay Pottery!
For me as we’ve turned from one season to another, I’ve been working away on my Autumn/Winter collection which I will share with you very soon.
As ever there’s lots to do, but the process from beginning to end always goes at a nice, steady pace. Plus it’s very exciting anticipating the final results, like this winter bowl down at the shore...
I often wonder where these bowls will end up?
And who will be sitting at their kitchen table enjoying their soup from a Morecambe Bay Pottery bowl.
